Rob and I had signed up to take Christmas pictures to send out Christmas cards with Remi. Rob is not the big picture guy that likes to pose so when he agreed to do them, it was an accomplishment. They were scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Well, earlier that week they had started calling for rain all day. I had kind of gotten this feeling that something was going down but my mom washed that thought away real quick so even though my hopes were high, I had erased that thought. The morning that the pictures were supposed to be taken, our photographer messaged me and said they were canceled. I told Rob after he woke up and I was at basketball practice and he started blaming it on the fact that the cards would not be done in time, he said we had to take them that day. So, he messaged a family friend and asked if he would take some and explained the situation. All along, I was thinking to myself, WHY is he trying so hard for these dang pictures??? We make our way to the Milk Barn around noon and we start taking pictures and at the end, the barn doors start to open and I thought the barn was falling (hahaha) and our entire family was there to surprise me and get the moment captured, Rob was on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. I was overwhelmed with joy and was so stinkin' happy that the only emotion I could express were tears of joy. It was the best day! 

Rob pulled it all off in the matter of just a couple of hours and it worked out perfectly. He was so nervous, he was sweating by the time he proposed. He was so nervous leading up to it, that he had moved the ring like 6 times the night before and was sick on his stomach that entire day. And my gullible self NEVER knew! He pulled off the best surprise and the most perfect proposal! Without even asking what my dream proposal looked like, he pulled it off! Everything with this man has always been a surprise, but so easy! He's always wanted to make everything so special, and he has. I have never had to tell him what my favorite things are, he just knows. That's love!
